SITCA's Consultancy Services

Due to the reponse to our highly successful Training for Professionals program begun in 2003, SITCA now provides overseas consulting for restaurateurs who require on-site guidance and instruction.

An expert team led by SITCA director Roongfa Sringam is available for international on-site training, demonstrations, seminars, master classes, and Thai food promotions. Our award-winning cooks and carvers have between them decades of combined experience in training non Thais in the Thai culinary arts. SITCA is one of the only facilities in existence providing these English language services at a world class standard.

Consultancy and other overseas services are available to:

  • Culinary schools and institutions who wish to offer up to two weeks of training in the Thai culinary arts to their matriculated and non matriculated students.
  • Thai restaurant start-ups requiring menu design and quality control, and on-site training of cooks.
  • Fine Thai restaurants who wish to train and or upgrade the skills of their cooks, and/or upgrade their menus.
  • First class hotels who wish to mount five-star Thai food extravaganzas.
  • Television broadcasts that feature instructional cooking

Requirements include food and lodging for the SITCA team as well as air travel from and back to Koh Samui; and our professional fee, to be negotiated per requirements.

Host venues may wish to attempt to partially subsidize the costs of the training by seeking sponsorship from Thai food product manufacturers and distributors.

Culinary schools and restaurants interested in receiving a customized proposal should be prepared to submit photos or plans showing all areas of their kitchens, and to assess the local availability of Thai food ingredients (we'll provide a market list.) ots open are as follows:
